Thank God for faith. I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through some of the hard times without it. It’s definitely been a guiding light for me and Madison. Because watching your child go through something challenging with their health can make you feel helpless. At least it made me feel that way. I don’t have a medical degree, but I know when something is wrong with my child. Thats when faith comes in and a mama on a mission is born.

I can honestly say that her faith helped my faith at times. Madison took her faith seriously. She won the Good Shepherd Award a few times at her elementary school and other recognition for a strong faith. She even wanted to go a place called Medjugorje which I had never heard of. As a matter of fact, my husband says that at one point, she was the spiritual leader of our family.
